Inception: Leonardo Di Caprio also occasionally does something sensible
Since I have nothing better to do to fill the void of boring these days, will delight you with yet another pointless review of the film of the moment: Inception .
Abstract: There are actors that I can not stand and therefore I refuse to watch whatever movie that act, unless someone took me by fraud or by force. Anyone who knows me knows that these players were three: the unnecessary Nicolas Cage, the even more Tom Cruise useless (I've never seen Top Gun, I swear) and Leonardo Di Caprio. because they say after seeing Revolutionary Road, but even more so after seeing Shutter Island, I changed my mind a little bit on that, although every time I go here is to watch a movie in which he is still distort the nose.
then I went to see Inception with a little 'bias and lack of conviction, either by the principal actor, either because it was so highly acclaimed by critics and audience that in the end I was afraid I disappoint, as often (or only I say all the things that are fantastic in the end disappoint?).
I had to change his mind once again.
Nolan was able to tell an absurd story with a disarmingly simple and complicated, thanks to the brilliant idea as banal as to introduce a character totally useless as Ariadne (Ellen Page), whose sole reason for existing is to make questions left and right (it is also a bit 'boring, let's say) and make clear every single thing, which may explain everything step by step too ignorant spectator.
One of the things I braked from going to see Inception was this: I hate leave the room feeling like an idiot because I did not understand at all, or almost nothing, I just watched the movie (any reference to Parnassus - The man who would cheat the devil is purely coincidental). To tell the truth: it was so clear that almost all so I was disappointed in the opposite direction!
So I will not go further in comments already heard and read a bit 'everywhere, I say only that the cast is great (oh yeah, almost forgot: I'm in love with Joseph Gordon-Levitt), so much so that Di Caprio convinced me 100% and very nearly came to me want to see his entire filmography (but not), the plot is ingenious, Nolan is a genius in his time, and there are scenes (see van / hotel) that will certainly in the history of cinema and c 'is also the star complexes. The only part that I was not convinced that much is the third (or fourth?) Level, to understand what the snow, but so be it. Who cares, everything else is so cool that the "battle" in the snow takes a back seat!
One final note: THANKS to those who have decided to leave unchanged the title and do not translate, THANKS!

Welcome Speech Different Type Opening
New Horizons!
After few months I saw a great opportunity job becoming real: it's not official yet, but the circumstances seem favourable for me to leave in the period of November-December. Kazakhstan is the final target, three years in a complete unknown place, where I'll have to speak english and learn at least a little bit of Russian to survive.
It's a challenge and as a challenge I've accepted it since Alex asked me if I wanted to be part of this project, sharing this adventure with him. Most of the friends to whom I've talked about my decision, told me that it's quite uncommon accepting to go to a foreing country, considering how far it is and how many cultural differences I'll probably have to face.
But I'm convinced that next to Alex and to the group of friends who are going to join the project, I'll be able to overcome all the difficulties I'll have to face up to.
Ah... before I forgot: I've finally got my degree in archeology. It represents an important brick in order to build my own home, made of experiences and aims. Thanks to whom who were there with me, even if far far away: that day I felt invincible.
Some reading news: since August I've been reading Sepulchre, by Kate Mosse (not the model, mh XD). I could describe it as an historical thriller, even if it's much more than this. There are two main settings: the late IXXth century from one side; and, on the other side, our contemporary epoch, the XXIth century. In spite of the chronological alternation, the book is absolutely pleasant to read and I hardly managed to close it once I've started! In few words: it could be an interesting reading for anyone who is looking for adventure, suspence and historical recalling.

Wolf Pack Line Line Art
The slowness of the primes
is the first post I write for this blog: In theory I should introduce myself, but I have no desire to do so. Just know that certainly this blog sooner or later end up abandoned and I have no intention to make public my own business. If every time you happen to find some post "Friends Only", well 'that's just, those are my business.
Is there anyway that I got to drag my sister to the movies to see Solitude of Prime Numbers, the film by Saverio Costanzo (sigh) based on the novel by Paolo Giordano.
I state that I read the book because loved it was both my mom and my sister every time I forget that usually (not quite always, always, but very very often) things - anything - that I particularly appreciate miamma and my sister, literally make me sick.
is true, this is not exactly the case of the novel by Jordan, but we say that we went dangerously close. In short, a book that won Campiello Prize (for best first feature, ok, but is always Campiello Prize), Premio Strega, Premio Fiesole Fiction Under 40 Award and Merck Serono (of which I find now exist and that perhaps maybe it's the only guessed) I expected much more of a coming evil Harmony starring two kids complexed. At the beginning seems to have potential, too bad in the middle then be filled with clichés and the characters lose depth. At the technical level is decently written, it is scorrevolissimo - and here I do not discuss, as I read it in one day - but I do not believe that there was no better books to assign all those prizes!
So, not content with the disappointment of the book given to me, I agreed to go to the cinema to see the movie.
Here, the film has emerged as one of the most boring things I've seen in recent years: the book is so moving, because the film is slow, very slow. I will not be here to make judgments about technology because I am absolutely not able to speak passionately ignorant of cinema going to the cinema to see a movie. And my opinion is ignorant NO. NO surcharges
the choice to change the ending, which was the only thing that saved the book from being a Harmony through and through and made it in the least interesting part turned around my opinion that had sunk in mid-narrative. Because Jordan has agreed to reverse the final - and then the sense of history? If he wanted un altro finale, non avrebbe potuto scrivere direttamente un altro libro?
